The owners of this beautiful, architecturally designed, waterside home understood the Christchurch climate and the need to make the most of the waterside views and the stunning, snow capped Southern Alps. They wanted to make the house as liveable and enjoyable as possible, no matter what time of year it was.

Pacific Residential Eurosliders were installed for the bedrooms, while Atlantic High Performance Eurosliders, using double glazed glass were used for the main rooms. Both sets of Eurosliders were chosen for the increased viewing area they offered, while the Atlantic Eurosliders were selected for their ability to withstand a heavy wind load. Anyone who’s spent time in Canterbury and experienced a howling northwesterly can attest to this. The other great feature about the Eurosliders is that they’re low maintenance and so easy to slide, which is important especially for young children and the elderly.

Low E-Glass was used and the frames were powdercoated in a metro coal dust colour that complemented the rest of the home.
